uai, deja entendu parler de lot of laugh, ce qui ne veut rien dire.
laughing my fucking ass off
laughing you f**ing ass off, perfect English
Hey guys it's the English topic over here! So keep it straight or let's go in "trollage divers" to speak in French :D
And @ArracheCoeur just a little tip if you want to post after one of your own post you can use the magic "edit" button ;) so it will be easier ;)
Hi Tortillo, the edit button, yeah thanks I do get it, BUT the whole point of my remark was precisely that when I post, I am not sure where it will end up on the topic. It so happens that in this case my 2 posts were one after the other, but is that always the case?
Also, if what I am writing is in fact a different post, should I just keep editing my posts? I seem to have noticed, that the edit I do add, do not appear as latest posts, so they may not get read by the members of the forum unless they srcoll back up to my latest post.
i hope this makes sense.
English Topic: Can I troll here? In English of course
PS: Whose idea was it to pin a badge MODO next to your name, I don't like it. Can you remove it when you just want to post a comment of your own, or have you just become a MODO full stop? have you lost your freedom?
There is nothing random in the order of the post it is just depending on the time that you've posted it ;) (If you move your mouse on the time you can see exactly when it was posted. But if you post too many posts in one minute of course you can not be sure if someone has posted something in between or not!
And my remarks was also for general purpose because I did not know if you knew about the "edit" button ;)
I understand your point. I think that if you have different ideas to express you can express them in one post and just have space or whatever you want in between ;) Except if you post one today and three days later you want to say something else then yes just create a new one ;)
(p.s.: yes I can post without the "modo" tag when it is not moderation related)
hey your badge is gone!
it's a fine line this modo stuff, I do find it difficult to differentiate.
I would just keep the colour background for moderation messages, and ditch the badge altogether.
Unless of course other people have the editing rights to colour the background of their messages.
I learned something today.
The geeks on this forum, are going to play their "yeah off course we knew this, in fact we wrote the book" card.
the world is now divided into digital natives and digital immigrants.
I am of the latter category.
If this is cryptic you will have to look it up.

But nice ! There are always new books to add, it's not possible to finish a list like this -_-

there is this as well, British humour. This is a quiz show, with comedians as panelists, and Stephen Fry as a presenter. It is very popular in the UK, I chose this episode because of the French theme.
enjoy : )
This topic is not for Ponce, he does not like franglais, if you see him at the door redirect him somewhere else, be kind he has just recoverd from a deadly disease. ; )

going to see the animated film " the Croods" tomorrow,
Shame, you will have to wait until 10th April to see it in France ; )
seen the film, not in my top five of animated films, but some good bits, when the girl gets shoes, or each time the sloth goes TALA.
the invention of the snapshot is good too.
lots of visual references to Avatar.
I am told that there is also a reference to Pitch Black.
hi,
some of you may be curious to visitthis topic still.
So a little while back I had posted here (this topic) the classic video of the British class system. "I look down on him.... I know my place"
it now seems that Britain is not made of a three class system anymore, but seven.
the BBC has put a class calculator online just in case people want to know where they are.
you can do the test, and find where you are, and if you click on the tab "the results", you get a descriptor of each of the seven categories from ELITE to PRECARIAT.

they are going to shut up Big Ben for the day.
Funeral day with no BONG BONG.
they are not giving me a day off though.
Your child is a little shit who does not respect his peers, and does not let me teach. Not only does he not have a clue about this subject I am trying to teach him, but he does not even speak English properly, and lacks the basic skills which would allow him to sit still for 5 minutes. For god sake teach him some manners, or keep him at home. Don't bother with parents' evening either, I may become violent.
sorry, I am in report season and I have to be superdiplomatic in what I write on kids' report, and I just felt an urge to type what I really mean.
I feel better already :)
only one more class to do :(
nobody ever comes here and read this, that's because you are all sad and miserable, (c'est la BBC qui le dit)
