Well let\'s start an english thread in order to talk a little bit separately from the other threads. This morning I managed to get some fuel, although my credit card is still blocked. So here I am now, at work. If you speak english fluently, please explain a little bit how you learned the langage (I guess it\'s, like me, at school), and how many years.

English talking is quite friendly for me, and somewhat restful. I\'m of those who think that english speaking is quite mandatory nowadays.
Hey, what a good idea

I\'ve learned english for about 8 years now, at school. But I think that listening english speaking songs was and is helpfull It\'s so boring to hear something you can\'t understand. That\'s why I\'ve learn a little bit german too, when I starded listening Rammstein. But this is out of the thread.

I can\'t have problems with my credit card, I\'ve got no payment card
So, I hope we\'ll find other english speaking guys and girls in the members of the forum !

See you.
Yes an english topic! What a good idea.
I learned english like a lot of people and i loved it. I was quite good, so i decided to continue in a famous parisian university.
It was very interesting, but quite difficult. I gave up at the end of the school year.
I regret a little bit :unhappy:
It is definitely very useful in the day-to-day life. Like veyron I learned german too, but i never loved this language et I sucked.
I hope that i did not make too much errors, but if i did i apologize
Spanish sucks !
A very good idea!!

I\'m still at school so I can say that I\'m still learning english. But it\'s more some specific vocabulary concerning forest, wood, environment...

I learn english since 7years, because I learned german in first foreign language, but I didn\'t like it , it\'s a very difficult language!!

I didn\'t like english at the beginning, maybe because of my teachers... but then I went to Ireland, twice. I love this country, so I made some efforts in order to speak with Irish people. And then I started to read Harry Potter 5 in english, because I couldn\'t stand to wait 3months to have the french version. So my english became better.

Recently, I went three months to Québec for my studies, but if they speak french, a lot of documents I had were in english...

If I made too much errors, please correct them!

See you.
You went to Québec ? Lucky girl !

You know, I\'m still at shool and I\'m still learning english there. But I think this scholar english not so much efficient when you go to an english speaking country. Accent are changing and so on. A friend of mine was in Texas, and when he came back, he said that the first two weeks he understood quiet nothing  !

I\'ve read the last Harry Potter too, in the same circumstances

As a conclusion, I\'m just remembering that I\'ve dropped some english texts and poems in the "Création des membres" section, the name of the thread is "Simon"... So if you want to wast some time

See you

EDIT : Here\'s the link of the thread http://forums.saezlive.net/viewtopic.php?pid=25866#p25866
@Veyron (like the 12 french department... sorry, it was too easy...) : I read your creations on the "Simon" thread, I liked it. Especially the last one, "Pretty system", you seemed to be angry when you wrote it, or maybe a little depressive?
Yes, I went to Québec, during three and half months, for a work experience included in my study. It\'s really a beautiful country, with very nice people... Some of my photos are here
Hem... The @veyron joke I got it on the IRC chan Not so bad after all... Got a stupid nick and that\'s all

Thanks for the creations. For pretty system, it\'s a long story... Once uppon a time... STOP !
More seriously, I was both angry and depressed, but now I\'m just angry I think
If you want to read a little (hem, more than a little) more, french and english...
http://torsions.free.fr (my old band, in french, punk rock)
http://helldawn.free.fr (my actual band, english, more heavy)
And this special link for MORE

I\'ve discovered a little band from Québec, "Les cowboys fringuants"... Verry funny, because they\'re sometimes talking of very serious things with their so crazy accent, and I think it gives a nice colour to the songs... If you don\'t know (can it be real ?), I suggest you to locate your web browser here : http://www.cowboysfringants.com/

About the photos... Very impressive the... "barrage" (can\'t find the good word, damn\'). And the little "grenouille" (I\'m in the same case here).
I especially like the ones with trees.

And as a special bonus, you can get some of my photos here and here.

You can find one of the second gallery in the thread about the black and withe picture contest...

Cheers

PS : No no, this is not a promotionnal post
Where can I begin??...

Sorry for the @veyron joke, but I\'m near this department so it was so easy...

I visited your links, OK, just Torsions and Helldawn (nice names!!), because it\'s a little too late for me to read something more intellectual than the new quotes in Bashfr...

Concerning your photos, the old crane is a little frightening... and for the other link : you don\'t like the black and white, hmmm?? (not the whiskey, alcoholic!! ) But I liked some of them, not all, but some are good (I\'m NOT a photograph, it\'s just my opinion).

Thank a lot for your commentary on my blog!! I\'m a little more confident for the future, but I\'m still afraid... And thank for your coments about my photos!!

For your vocabulary problems : "barrage" = dam ; "grenouille" = frog, and just in case : a little help

For the Cowboys Fringants band, I knew it before going to Québec, my brother was fan due to "Les Etoiles Filantes" song, and I bring back the complete collection of their albums : they are five, and I\'m ruined for him!! But if you see closer this forum, you can see that I have post some news concerts in France... here!

See you.

So, anybody else wants to speak in english with us??
I\'m tired. I slept about 4 hours this night.
veyron and Mel, your english seems quite good ! Isa, yours is still a little bit rusty but keep on going and practicing whenever you can.

I have the luck to speak in english most of the time at work, over the phone or by e-mail, with people from all over the world.

I guess I\'ll teach the langage to my future child at an early age. It will be very helpful for him/her some years after.

OK but... what are we talking about REALLY?? I mean, we just discuss in english, there aren\'t any passionated debate about some drawings for T-shirts, or about your favorite band, or about the eternal question : to be or not to be?, or something like that...

So the question of the day is: coffee or tea?
